| Bio: |  I am a fanfic author and beta reader, twice the age of the average fangirl, and a mother. I currently live with my child's father and our four birds and two mice. My friends tell me that I'm scary, but I have no idea why. I am a Livejournal refugee. To put my reasons for leaving as succinctly as I can: I refuse to support Livejournal because they treated a large portion of their user base very, very badly. They suspended some of us (not me, but I take fandom in general to be 'us'). Then they lied to us, and proceeded to 'permanently suspend' a couple more without warning. After that, we were all treated to being insulted by members of the Livejournal staff, supposedly in the context of a joke. During all of this, the team was also hard at work, defending the continuation of journals far, far, more questionable than those they 'suspended'. Good job, guys. Sorry about the rant, but I believe in spreading the word about wonderful things like that. I'm not very good at these things, so I'll move on to the interesting stuff, okay? Come and join us, if you're so inclined!Now, for something completely different: From the livejournal community, "saiyuki_ratings":  I have been rated as being most like Dokugakuji. I'm really, really not sure why, but at least he's a good guy! From the same community:  and  Yep, I got myself a Sha sandwich! (who cares if the Taisho is 500 years gone??) Stuff I almost forgot: I am an avid shounen-ai and yaoi fan, and I ship 585, 393, 10K and Koumyou/Ukoku (Saiyuki), Kubota/Tokitoh(Wild Adapter and Araiso), Goh/Taki (Yellow), Ban/Ginji, Kazuki/Juubei (Get Backers), Tsuzuki/Hisoka with special appearances by Muraki, and Tatsumi/Watari (Yami no Matsuei), Noir/Florian (Gorgeous Carat), Ritsuka/Soubi (Loveless). Probably others I'm forgetting about as well. It is important to note that I do not hate het, but I don't generally read it. I can get that anywhere. Yaoi is considerably more difficult. Especially good yaoi. I am a fanfic author, with stories in Saiyuki, Wild Adapter, GetBackers, Loveless, and poetry in Saiyuki and Claymore. Links to my archives can be found in my journal. I also enjoy making icons and wallpapers, crappy fanart, and the occasional list of things designed to make other people laugh. I like to make people smile. It ups the global 'good karma quotient', and really is the greatest sound the world has to offer. Music is very important in my life, and I include the followign list of favorites: Tool, Hawksley Workman, Tori Amos, Damien Rice, Evans Blue, and so many others that I can never wrap my brain all the way around them enough to complete this list...*sigh* I dislike squee-ly fangirling (though it's healthy to let out a good squee now and then), preferring to discuss my fandoms in normal adult human being terms. I detest chatspeak, save for the occasional acronym (i.e. OMG), again preferring to use actual words when talking to people.
